recommendations on scheduling

Does steampipe support any sort of jobs or scheduling for a set of queries?

• I want to list all the AWS EC2 resources in all regions (or just 2 aws regions) every Friday afternoon and if I find any resources I will make sure to delete them before I go for the weekend.
• I want to make sure there are no IAM users in my accounts, so I want to run monthly or quarterly compliance reports that list the IAM users.

For cases as above, I can quickly write up a shell script and put it on my crontab but I am looking for suggestions or recommendations that you guys can share? Is crontab what you suggest or is there some sort "steampipe job" that can do this thing?
If it isn't too much to ask, can steampipe send me the query output via email or slack me at the end ;)

@vkumbha I think you are on the right track with looking to standard tooling on your platform (e.g. crontab) for scheduling. Would be great if you want to open up a feature request for the idea of triggering actions based on a query.
