Cmd+1 and then Cmd+2 (and back) shows the last screen for a split second #137

current behavior

overlay loads what was latest in the overlay for a split second , it looks bad. can replicate by doing cmd 1 and cmd 2 back and forth very fast.

expected behavior:

cmd 1 should only show settings, no other displays
