Hello,
I run sudo apt-cyg install git, but it doesn't work.

Unable to start 'apt-cyg': There is no application associated with the given file name extension.

How do I run apt-cyg with root priv.

There's no "sudo" command in cygwin.

To get "root" privileges, since cygwin is run inside windows, you have to open the cygwin terminal as a Windows "Administrator".

You shouldn't need admin privileges to run apt-cyg (or cygwin). Where have you seen instructions telling you to use sudo?
