It would be useful to expose type constructors, so we could write (for example) sdl.Rect(1, 1, 64, 64) instead of ffi.new('SDL_Rect', 1, 1, 64, 64).
sdl.Rect(1, 1, 64, 64)
ffi.new('SDL_Rect', 1, 1, 64, 64)
Here's what I've been using. This is too rough for a pull request, but I'll leave it here in case it's useful to someone else.
