Feature request: Start playing video by time index

It'd be extremely useful to be able to start playing a video from a certain position by a time index, say 12 minutes and 3 seconds into the video, specified via an option from the command line.

One additional comment that I will add : I've experienced airplayer crash / stop streaming during the middle of a video and return to the shell, so that's an additional reason why being able to play a video by time index would be useful.

Any update... This would be a very useful feature that i'd use almost every day :-)
