Follows hereupon a link that is instructive to how to change firmware on an LSI HBA controller (I want to change mine from "IBM type" to "IT MODE" type), and their instructions discuss using the UEFI shell (an open source version) and the v1 vs v2 of it (v2 is missing some v1 commands that are needed per this document).

Dear Users, Developers, et alia:
Follows hereupon a link that is instructive to how to change firmware on an LSI HBA controller (I want to change mine from "IBM type" to "IT MODE" type), and their instructions discuss using the UEFI shell (an open source version) and the v1 vs v2 of it (v2 is missing some v1 commands that are needed per this document).

(the UEFI BIOS section speaks to what I am referencing)
Perhaps you might be able to furnish some insights to me as to the following concerns I am interested in...
Where can I find a binary version of the v1 and v2 of the UEFI shell located in the above encaptioned URL?
Why would the authors of that page think commands that were in v1 are no longer in v2, and presuming that is true, why is that?
Any information you can provision would be most greatly appreciated in no uncertain terms.
Stay safe from the thugs and stay healthy.
Stuart
