Remember User's Interaction With the Bot

Currently, the bot only responds to the message which mentioned the bot. To simplify the interaction, so the users don't need to mention the bot every time they want to interact, the bot could respond to the first mentioned message and then respond to every message that the users sent in the same channel. The bot could do this by remembering the last interaction with the user, what time? and which channel?.
