Sometimes on other sites there is a small (i) to get information on a hover. It would be nice to see what was your intention with "Meeting" vs "Social" for example. Sometimes a modal opens, sometimes its just a small info-windows.
I'm trying to decide currently for a local regulars' table on what of these two to use.

The lack of clearly defined categories is a known issue, see #7 / #73 .
Note, such categories are currently not displayed on the standard osmcal.org website, but can be revealed using the API.
The issue is open for people to work on and give additional suggestions in.
Descriptions would be a good follow-up for this. It's currently of low priority given the broader issue and current behaviour.
OSMCal uses simple design and functionality, categories and anything else should preferably explain itself where possible.
Appreciate your answer and i like the minimalism.
And in my opinion if you want to do this without an description, you probably should join "Meeting" and "Social". Alternatively add "Regular's table" because thats probably a common one for OSM i guess.
