Use PreRoll without content video afterwards

Hey there,

I would like to get the benefits of your vast-plugin, but I actually only want to play a PreRoll Ad and afterwards remove the player from the DOM and do something different than playing a content video.
What would be the best practice to achieve this? I wonder at which point I should "break out" of the flow of the script and start customizing.
