Disappearing post after upvoting?

"I recently noticed a subtle bug on my new ICS Galaxy Nexus. The use case is as follows:

1. browsing reddit on RIF
2. click post and select the "comments" box
3. Inside comments view, click the link again and click the up arrow
4. Click the back button
5. Click "refresh"

The issue is that the post that I opened and upvoted is no longer visible after the refresh. This is particurlarly strange as this doesn't happen in the case of downvotes. When refreshing after downvoting in the same manner, the page refreshes with the down vote arrow on that post correctly glowing in blue and the vote count adjusted downward by one. The post remains hidden even after quitting the app and restarting it.

I'm using the dark mode in RIF, and as I mentioned am using a Verizon LTE phone with version 4.02."

I've never heard of this happening before. It sounds like a possible Reddit tweak to voting behavior, but it sounds unlikely.
