kernel to check the intersection of 2 math.vec2

i am looking for a kernel to check the intersection of 2 vectors/Linestrings.

Equivalent to this shapely code:

path = LineString(p1, p2)
path2 = LineString(p3, p4)

if not path_buffered.intersects(path2):
		# no intersection
		return False
else:
		return True
