Statistics measures

Hi all,

The last few days I have been learning Taichi, and so far, I really like what I see.

I am trying to find in taichi basic "statistics measures" that could be applied to 1D fields, such as mean, variance, median, etc.

Some, of course, are very easy to implement, but others may require recursion (eg, median), and was wondering if there has been some discussions about the best way to implement those for use inside a kernel.
