👋 Welcome!
We’re using Discussions as a place to connect with other members of the Tact community. We hope that you:
If you feel like it, comment below with an introduction and tell us about your relation to Tact, and how you hope to see it evolve.
Issues vs discussions
We use both the “Issues” and “Discussions” for Tact. What’s the difference? When should you use which section?
Issues is for bugs. The main use of the Issues section is to report bugs, and track the progress of fixing them. Tact engineers may also ask for extra info related to the bug. A bug is a problem with Tact that is easy to describe, where it is clear what the fix is and how it should behave.
Discussions is for features and ideas. It may happen that you have an idea about how Tact should behave and what it should do. Sometimes this is called a “feature request”. Please post ideas and feature requests in Discussions, and feel free to comment on the ones that others have posted. We can’t promise that we will build everything that we see here, but we will definitely consider all of your thoughts.
