Search patient by name prefix/sufix not working

It seems many API search features are not implemented as outlined by the FHIR search spec.

For instance, the following do not work:

For reference, this FHIR API is able to search CarePlan by Encounter.

This FHIR server is version 1.8, not 3.0 -- the spec you listed is a newer version.

We have plans to migrate to a newer version soon.

Ah, thanks for pointing that out. I believe the above use-case is still supported in version 1.8 (and 1.6, which I now see the readme is linked to) under references.
