Meta title is not Showing Correctly. The repeating part is missing. I can see it in the plugin settings but it doesn't transfer to the code itself.

Hello!

Could you please provide the following:

  1. The title you expected.
  2. The title you got instead on the back end.
  3. The title you got instead on the front end.
  4. The URL of the page you saw this.

Screenshots would also be appreciated!

Thank you! :)

Thank you for your response.

  1. I expected - Custom Signs New York
  2. Not sure how to check that
  3. I got only
  4. https://manhattansignshop.nyc/large-format/banners/

Here you see a list of all my pages and some of them have the expected title, where the function of adding the repeating part of the title worked well, but most of the pages don't have that.

I guess it can be related to yoast plugin installed as well, but it's title function not working as well.

Thank you.

Hi again!

Sorry, I missed the notification.

The theme on your site isn't written according to WordPress's coding standards, so the title output may not always be as expected.
You can fix that using the Title Fix extension: https://theseoframework.com/extensions/title-fix/.

With the "back end," I meant these input fields. The title you want should be shown there:

The title can be inspected in the browser tab on the "front end":

Note that Google can ignore your titles if they think another title better serves the search engine's users. The meta <title> field is merely a part of their consideration for the output on Google Search.

You can learn more about that from this page: https://developers.google.com/search/docs/appearance/title-link.

Lastly, you should never use two SEO plugins simultaneously. It will only cause problems.
