The Google News Sitemap

Hi,
I've just tried launching a Google News sitemap, however on the search console, the sitemap will not be accepted, and says that there is a Missing XML tag:
Line 4
Parent tag: Tag:
urlset URL
... and I'm being told to resubmit the sitemap with all of the errors corrected.

How do I correct these errors?

2. Are there new posts tagged with "NewsArticle"?
3. What's the full URL of the sitemap?

1. I added a couple of posts this morning in order to populate the sitemap.
2. the posts are tagged with 'Blog Posting'.
3. the full URL of the news sitemap is: https://midlandsmaidens.com/sitemap-news.xml

Looking at your reply above, it looks like I should tag the posts with 'News Article' rather than 'Blog Posting'.

I've got a couple of new posts to add, so I'll change all posts to News Article for the rest.

I've just updated all posts, pages and custom post types to 'News Article' and also saved the permalinks to 'Post Name'
