[Svelte 5] How to unmount a component from <svelte:component>?

Suppose I have <svelte:component bind:this={componentElement} this={componentName} />. If I want to remove this component from the page, previously in Svelte 4 I can use componentElement.$destroy(). In Svelte 5 $destroy() is removed. And since this component was not mounted with mount(), I can't use 'unmount()' either (error message: "Tried to unmount a component that was not mounted"). What can I do?

Currently my workaround is to give the <svelte:component> a parent <div>, bind it to a variable and just remove that element. But I thought the component needs to be properly unmounted with API or something is not cleaned up. Another workaround would put the <svelte:component> in a {#if} block, but I'm not sure if the component can be properly cleaned up either.

I think the issue is specific to transitions; an #if block should work fine.

You also can set this to null/undefined to remove the component.
