Mediated page: possible to disable dates on calendar date selector when pickup library is closed?

This is NOT for Requests 2024, but it did come up in team discussions very late in the workcycle.

For a mediated page, when the user is selecting a "Planned date of use" - Is it possible for us to disable dates in the date selector if the pickup library is closed on that date in library-hours? We've always allowed users to select any date, and relied on the mediating staff member to recognize that the date selected is a closed date and communicate accordingly with the user.

But it would be nice if we could just disable the date. Given our calendar date selector action, this seems really hard.
