This has some considerations;

  1. What's the best platform? Considering (roughly in order of priority): performance, feature support, generous free tier without gotchas, pace of maintenance and support, community popularity

This means Vercel is out - they don't support GH orgs except on paid plans. Won't work for our use case

Netlify is a contender, form support is sweet. Analytics is expensive.

Cloudflare has been great - the dashboard is a bit annoying and reloads a lot, but that's okay. Just check how generous the free tier is really.

Render is another option - lots of cool features too. So is railway, cloud 66 - but seems overkill for simple frontends, and for backends I want to use my own VPS for learning with that simple Go backend

  1. Consider analytics

Plausible is nice, but it's getting expensive. I will not self host anything, too much time spent.

Ideal: free or cheap option from the hosting provider above

Just checked - cloudflare free analytics will do the job!
