Won't scan PDF

The tree is like so inside /media/books

    └── calculus
        └── calc.pdf

I create a library for the textbooks/ dir, but scanning will not add the PDF to the library. I see it in the files tab, but it can't be opened from there because of No associated DB entry found for this file

Unfortunately there isn't much I can see wrong on the surface. If you can, please adjust verbosity and re-run a scan to see what the logs output.

Do you have any persisted logs? You can check by going to the logs section of the settings page

There aren't any persisted logs.

Alright, I guess there might have been some issues with the PDF? I encountered a situation in the past where mupdf couldn't read some of the metadata of a different PDF, so I ran it through https://www.ilovepdf.com/repair-pdf and that seemed to have fixed it. But it would be good to have user feedback when it fails for some reason.

Do you happen to still have the bad copy? And if so, can you send it to me? I'll add some additional logging in the area where the error was handled, but I'm not sure why the error wasn't written to the DB so it would be good to repro it.
