Looking at a single workflow or a single execution in isolation is useful, but it’s not enough. Understanding patterns and commonalities across workflows (repo-wide, org-wide) is critical.
Examples of what this unlocks:
- How a repo’s workflows are trending over time
- Surfacing optimization opportunities (hot spots, redundant work)
- Detecting regressions early
- Comparing workflows and repos to establish baselines
This shifts the focus from “what happened in this run?” to “what’s systematically happening across our CI.”
