Bug: circle tag in svg is not importing #53

Bug does not show up with Inkscape because it uses path syntax for circles. On the other hand Illustrator uses the circle tag.

Illustrator Workaround: convert circle to compound path

Yeah - but it's definitely the circle tag that causes it - because
Inkscape will happily import and re-export SVG code containing circle tags

  • and you can even edit them. It just never generates circle objects of
    its own. So we know it's not any of the other markup from Illustrator.

It's odd because looking at the circle code in the backend, it looks OK to
me. Whatever's wrong isn't anything obvious.
