With your contribution, you will help to develop an open source information system used daily by people of an organizations in a developing country.

If you cannot donate but you can help in the development (documenting, trying the software, doing small or big improvements) we will also appreciate it, and if we receive enough funding we will share with you.

You will find several projects at https://github.com/pasosdeJesus/, most of them software, but also documentation and a translation of the Gospels to Spanish in the public domain. Those projects are developed with a structure that allows us to keep several systems updated in a private secure cloud, and to reduce costs by reusing drastically.

Operating System and Software Stack

Every six months, we use to publish a new version of the operating system adJ (based on OpenBSD but providing locale and xlocale that is important for non-english speakers who don't live in North America), that is the bottom of the secure and updated software stack that we use:

Our Motors

Continually, we develop and coordinate the development of motors for Ruby on Rails like sip (minimal information system with generic views to develop the rest faster), heb412_gen (cloud and creator of of documents and spreadsheets), mr519_gen (forms and surverys). Sometimes we fix bugs in other gems and open source projects.

Generic information systems

Continually we develop and coordinate development of generic information systems (and motors) that can be tailored or composed very fast for specific needs of particular NGOs: SIVeL2 (human rights case management system), cor1440 (to plan, monitor and evaluate projects based on the logical framework and theory of change), sal7711 (repository of scanned articles).

Full information systems tailored for specific organizations

Among the projects you can see at https://github.com/pasosdeJesus, you will find information systems whose name includes the name of the NGO that use it (e.g JRS, CINEP, CODACOP, ANZORC and Somos Defensores). Some of these NGOs are underfunded, so your contribution will be very important in defending rights of people.
