Become a sponsor to Parker Moore
I'm Parker, and I am a software engineer living in the United States. My primary open source focus has been the Jekyll static site generator since 2013. The project is used to generate millions of sites across the internet, and has been a big contributor to popularizing generated static sites. I continue to support the Jekyll project, as well as shipping my own open source projects.
Sponsorship is important to me because I believe the open source technology that generates billions of dollars of economic value across the globe is created for free outside of work hours, but needn't be. These vibrant communities can be further empowered to innovate when they have funding, turning the nights-and-weekends schedule into a full-time job for an open source developer.
With any funding I receive, I plan to support the Jekyll project, as well as pay it forward and sponsor other open source developers here on GitHub who have given me the tools I needed to work on Jekyll and other open source projects.
