Developed at GitHub to enable split authority DNS with support for GeoDNS and health checking. octoDNS takes the complexity out of safely managing your organization's DNS.

Since 2017 octoDNS has grown to include support for over 30 DNS providers and used by a number of major companies, organizations, and open source projects. It's always expanding its list of supported record types and ability to customize & configure the details of provider implementations recently including ROOT NS record management and custom provider-specific record types.
