I am a software engineer and musician. Passionate about home automation, drums and open source software.
In my free time I like to code useful tools and services, lately focusing on Home Assistant and its custom components, helper apps and frontend.

Some of my projects include:

• Support for Jinja2 syntax highlight in Home Assistant YAML files

• Entities sidebar for Home Assistant VSCode extension - currently working on getting it ready for a PR

• openHAB custom integration for Home Assistant - one of my first attempts in writing custom components for Home Assistant, with the goal to bridge a gap between these two amazing open source platforms

• Reaper DAW custom integration for Home Assistant - in order to remotely start and stop recording sound in my home studio I wrote this little integration for Reaper. It does a lot more now! If you're like me an audio engineering and home automation enthusiast, feel free togive it a shot!

• Various features in Home Assistant frontend repository - including YAML autocomplete and log filtering

• Support for Polish postal services in Mail And Packages custom component

• openHAB VS Code Extension - I was an initial contributor there, allowing openHAB users to edit DSL files with a decent code editor, syntax highlighting and a language server. The extension eventually replaced officially supported Eclipse SmartHome Designer

• Air Quality binding for openHAB - Initial contributor

• Music Scales for Google Assistant - a custom Firebase-hosted Google Assistant action that knows a lot about music theory.
