Hi, I'm Sooraj, a cybersecurity professional with a passion for open-source projects, privacy-focused solutions, and community building. I'm currently pursuing a Master's in Cybersecurity at Northeastern University, and have hands-on experience in vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, and threat intelligence. I've contributed to several projects like HushLine, a platform providing secure and anonymous reporting, and Ente, a privacy-focused cloud storage service with end-to-end encryption.

What I Do

• Open-source contributions: I develop and maintain tools to enhance privacy, security, and user autonomy. Some of my notable projects include a Rust-based metadata remover and active contributions to the security posture of HushLine.
• Cybersecurity research: I'm constantly exploring the intersection of security and privacy in technologies like blockchain, AI, and cloud services. I also lead null NEU, a cybersecurity student organization focused on spreading security awareness and encouraging research.
• Privacy advocacy: I work on creating accessible guides and tools to help individuals and organizations protect their digital privacy, including privacy-by-design policies and GDPR compliance consulting for platforms like HushLine.
