What I do?

I had the will to create software since childhood - as a kid, I used to read a lot about games, grab ideas I like, and write down plans for a game I'd create. This over years took me towards programming. But instead of games, I started programming libraries and bots for chat apps such as Palringo and now Discord. Later, by an "accident", university and industrial placements turned me into an ASP.NET Core developer.

Now I focus mainly on best programming practices - which reinforces my choice of programming bots, libraries, and even backend in ASP.NET Core.

Why GitHub Sponsors profile?

I think Open Source software is great - I like developing libraries, and people are more likely to use them if they're free and open. I very often look at source code of .NET Core and third party libraries myself - be it to learn, see how I can incorporate a piece of functionality in my own project, or just see if what a library does fit my needs.

I don't actually expect to get rich through GitHub Sponsors - but any donation shows that I do a good job with my code, and people appreciate my work - and that alone means a lot to me.

What do I want to achieve?

I like my current job, and my colleagues are some of the coolest people I've met. But my goal is to have the freedom that being a freelancer gives. And who knows, maybe GitHub Sponsors will help me achieve that one day?
