Hey, I'm Justin Hammond π
Software Engineer, IT Pro, & Tech Enthusiast
I love all things tech. I've been programming since the age of 12, repairing iPhones since 16, and founding tech companies since 20. I'm an open source fanatic, Apple fanboy, and love to explore new tech. I spend my time coding open source projects, tinkering with electronics and new tech products, and consulting teams on how to get things done.
Why Open Source & Sponsorship
Open source is the way of the future - it's how new programmers get inspired, a way for users to reference well-built code for free, and above all, makes possible the sharing of code and resources to better our world. Many of the world's most used and loved software is open source - I'm dedicated to contributing to this vision for a better future of software development. Sponsoring open source contributors like myself help fuel the next wave of software that will become the backbone of the internet. The funds contributed to me will help pay for project hosting and other hardware requirements, software tooling, and is a great way to support the continued development of either my own open source projects or other projects I may work on. Any and all sponsorships are welcome and incredibly appreciated!
What I'm Working On
I love building tools to save time and remove complexity during the development process. A well crafted tool can save hundreds of hours for a developer each year which translates into more bug fixes, extra features, or better collaboration on exciting projects. All of the projects listed on my GitHub were born out of necessity; the beauty of code is you can quickly bootstrap solutions to your everyday problems.
I have upwards of 70 projects that are open source and am always adding new ones to my GitHub. I feel software should be shared to better the development community, to be learned from, to be iterated on, and ultimately to improve the lives of everybody. Drop on by check out what I've open sourced; who knows, maybe there's something here you've been searching a long time for.
