Botspot
I am Botspot, a Raspberry Pi user and self-taught shell scripter.
My dream is for Linux to become just as widespread as Windows or Mac OS for personal computing, and to have it run well on even the cheapest Single Board Computers under $100.
Much of my free time in high school and (now) college has been invested into making free, easy-to-use programs for everyone's benefit. ❤️
For years I was opposed to receiving donations of any kind, for fear that my joy found in coding would be replaced with anxiety to appease those paying me. This year (2025) I am willing to try. Now you have a chance to give back.
You love Pi-Apps? You love one of my other Free Open Source projects? Sponsor me with any amount you feel is fair.
(For anyone wondering, much of the reason why I now am open to receiving monetary help is the loss of my father's job last year. Then my parents kicked me out at the beginning of 2025, and I'm facing the possibility of not having a place to live in a few months at the end of Spring classes. I got a job as a janitor at my university, but it's unlikely to be enough, soon enough.)

$5 a month
Select$5/month is a small, easy way to say "Thank you!"
If a lot of people did this, it would add up.
$50 a month
SelectLess than $2 a day. This is a good way to say "Thank you!"
$200 a month
SelectAn even bigger way to say "Thank you!"
For $200/month I could try to offer you personalized help, prioritize your requests, or add your name to some READMEs, but I'm a very busy guy so no promises. :)
