Hi,

I am currently writing a Windows 8.1 Store app to control Sphero 2.0 (Xbox360 gamepad input only at the moment) - SpheroControl. If I decide that the application is ready, under what terms could I release it in the Windows Store?

Also, if you have suggestions what you would like to see in such an app, I'd like to hear it.

Hi Paul - Awesome to hear! You're free to release any app as long as you're not breaking any of our logo guidelines. You can see examples here: http://www.gosphero.com/company/fansite-guidelines/

Hi Ross, thanks for the quick reply! I was mainly asking because I'd have to distribute the RobotKit.dll. Do you want a copyright notice or something like that included? Also thanks for providing me the logo guidelines, I was thinking about making a completely custom one to comply with your trademarks but now I think I'll customize the original one (I doubt you want to see me using the sphero logo as app logo without any modifications)

You're free to use/modify the Sphero logo as long as you don't claim you are Orbotix. No copyright needed.
