Play and Sleep Function

Hello everyone, I've been using Sonic Pi for almost two day now, and I wonder if there is a way to constantly write sleep & play all the time but still have the same effect, that sonic pi is waiting before playing the next note.
This is how my code looks like at the moment:

I would be glad if you could give me some advice on how to make the code shorter, or if it's not possible to make it shorter with a small configuration, I'd be happy if we could discuss whether it would be good or not to add some additional parameters to the play command to make it shorter.
