Issue: Airdrop Limit Not Increasing After Connecting GitHub

Description

It appears that users are initially limited to a maximum of 5 SOL worth of airdrop. The interface suggests that connecting a GitHub account should unlock a higher airdrop limit. However, even after connecting my GitHub account, the maximum airdrop remains capped at 5 SOL.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Access the platform without connecting a GitHub account.
  2. Observe the maximum airdrop limit displayed (5 SOL).
  3. Connect a GitHub account as prompted to unlock a higher limit.
  4. Recheck the maximum airdrop limit; it still remains 5 SOL.

Expected Behavior

After connecting a GitHub account, the maximum airdrop limit should increase, as stated by the prompt:

"Higher Airdrop Limit Unlocked!
You have connected your GitHub account and unlocked a higher airdrop limit."

Actual Behavior

The maximum airdrop limit remains unchanged at 5 SOL, regardless of whether the GitHub account is connected.

Supporting Evidence

  1. Maximum limit without GitHub connection:

    Without GitHub Connection

  2. Maximum limit after connecting GitHub:

    With GitHub Connection

Clarification Needed

Is this behavior intentional, or is it a bug? If intentional, the messaging should be adjusted to avoid confusion. If a bug, resolving it would ensure alignment between the interface and expected functionality.

Environment

  • Platform: Arch Linux
  • Browser: Brave
