set http_prefix to a custom path

How can I bring slate under the main application ingress configuration in kubernetes. It seems by default its checking for the contents under /. If I create a ingress rule to a different path. I am getting 404

Tried setting http_prefix to custom path in config.rb. then build docker image. But still llistening in / only
