Would be nicer and saver to store the intemp.sh scripts some where you don't need to be root for.

prefix="/usr/local/bin"

Agreed, but the script comes from upstream:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/karlkfi/intemp/master/install.sh

I will see how to bypass that.
