Is there a variable that can be adjusted for legibility?

I've been playing around with style and bias, but I find myself wanting the writing to be a little less sloppy. Is there a variable besides style and bias that can be adjusted for this?

ya the author made some comments about it in his hackernews post, basically if you adjust the probability distribution to more likely then you will get more legible (on average) writing
