Is there a parameter for dropdown parent container? #1698

I've searched the docs, but I can't find a parameter to attach the dropdown to specified parent. Currently I open the dropdown inside a modal and the dropdown is cut off. Is there a way to get around this?

This has been an issue for years. Would really love to finally have a fix for this, we are considerating changing libraries because of this and it would mean a week of work at least.
