'local-tun' support ipv6, right?

is there any extra step that needs to be done besides 'cargo build --features "local-dns, loca-tun"?
right now my ipv6 testing has failed.

curl -6 api6.ipify.org
output:[my ethernet ipv6 address]

curl -4 --interface tun0 api4.ipify.org
output:[my ss server ipv4 address]

curl -6 --interface tun0 api6.ipify.org
output:curl: (7) failed to connect to api6.ipify.org port 80 after 35 ms: couldn't connect to server

here is the related bits of my sslocal config:

would setting the "tun_interface_address" to ipv6 be sufficient enough?
i tried to set it to fc00::1/64 but the logs said 'invalidaddress'.
