Typed Link field causing compatibility issue with Neo, blocks unexpectedly scrambled

We are experiencing problems with the Typed Link field interfering with our use of the plugin Neo (may be a duplicate of issue #233).

On blocks that include a Typed Link field, our layout will unexpectedly move around when the current version of an entry is merged into a pre-existing draft. The folks over at Neo believe this is an issue with the Typed Link field.

When our author makes changes to the current version of an entry that includes a Typed Link field, the structure of our blocks on pre-existing drafts will get scrambled causing the page layout to break.

Additionally, we're seeing Typed Link Fields in their default state being flagged as Modified when no content has been changed.

This is currently blocking the full usability of Drafts on all our entries that use this field, so hoping to get some help resolving the problem. We're happy to hop onto a Zoom call to show you the issue or offer any assistance that may help in narrowing it down.
