Iskraemeco AM550 doesn't work, while my old Landis+Gyr E450 does.

My supplier has replaced my Landis+Gyr E450 meter with an Iskraemeco AM550.
Since this replacement, I've had no more readings, whereas everything worked fine with the E450.
According to my supplier, the P1 port on the AM550 is activated.
I've tried a few parameter changes, but so far without success.
Does anyone have any suggestions for testing?

I use an mbus slave converter like this one:

It has two LEDs, one which lights up when it is powered via the UBS port and the other which used to light up every 5 seconds when it received a signal from the L+G E450. Now, this second LED remains off.

The log contain only one line saying that asyncio-mqtt is renamed aiomqtt

P1 and MBus are not compatible on the physical layer (signalling / voltage levels). You need a P1 to USB adapter. For further information, check the P1 specification.

The Landis+Gyr E450 has no P1 port in my understanding. Its port only supports MBus and therefore worked with your adapter.
The Iskra AM550 has a P1 port, which has a different pinout and signalling and therefore does not work with a Mbus to USB adapter.
