I would like to write a guide on how to set up a new Micronaut project with a Managed Database on Scaleway Serverless Container platform. It should include a sample repository, CI/CD steps and a performance benchmark.
Why is it needed?
While it is "known" that one could use fully fledged enterprise software instead of serverless functions on Scaleway, it isn't exactly obvious from the documentation. Using Micronaut and GraalVM, it is possible to build a container which boots up in less < 150ms. Given this, it is a viable alternative instead of opting into the serverless framework. It is a major painpoint to get such a low-infrastructure setup up and running on different providers, but I found Scaleway to be really convenient (and competitive in pricing). Advertising this fact with a tutorial / guide may help people consider the serverless container platform more seriously
Hey @Fohlen you mentioned that you wanted to write the doc yourself, did you manage to do so? Otherwise, we will need to find some bandwidth in the team to do it. Let us know! Thanks!
