Issue with ionic v3 - cordova iOS - App crashes as soon as Mixpanel is invoked

Team,

As soon as the app launches and we get to the feature where the mixpanel code is invoked, the app crashes with the following error.

*** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '-[__NSCFConstantString count]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x7fff81ab6188'
terminating with uncaught exception of type NSException**
