apollo-codegen was deprecated in, I believe, June 2018. The package is a bit problematic to keep as a dependency because it requires graphql ^0.13.1 and doesn't allow for v14 and up. I've previously had a lot of problems with dependencies using different versions of graphql in the same project, so I hope it's possible to work around this somehow.
