Probably better for a third party crate, but it's been asked enough (especially to me) that we should have an official integration.

Come to think of it, with the new Application trait we should probably have some winit-util or winit-ext crate for things that don't fit inside of winit, but are useful enough that people shouldn't reinvent them constantly.
