That's not possible. See https://github.com/romkatv/powerlevel10k?tab=readme-ov-file#can-prompts-for-completed-commands-display-error-status-for-those-commands-instead-of-the-commands-preceding-them. This FAQ entry is about error status but the same argument applies to command execution time: when the execution time of a command becomes known, it's too late to change the prompt that precedes it. |

I am a massive fan of the transient prompt, but sometimes I feel I have lost some valuable contextual info for a past command, especially the execution time. So I have been going through some of the
p10k-on-pre-promp
issues and their comments and have been hacking on my config.I was able to achieve what I set out for i.e. preserve the command execution time and timestamp on past commands while keeping the transient prompt feel.
However, there's one small thing that is bugging me very much.
The execution time of a command appears on the RHS of the next command, which gets slightly confusing and feels like that command took that amount of time instead of the previous one, e.g. see the above screenshot.
How can I make the execution time appear on the same rhs of the command line? Any help/pointers will be appreciated!
Here's my current config if it helps
