Is the license applicable to application workflows #2345

We plan to provide a workflow like (trigger-filter-actions) feature to our customers and were considering Restate. Would like to know whether this usage comes under an “Application Platform Service”.

Building your own workflow like abstraction on top of Restate is allowed by Restate's license. The goal of the license is to prevent others from taking Restate and offering it as a managed service as is.
