Describe the solution you'd like
Let's get rid of the schedule page and instead make it a schedule component. This component can then be rendered on the Dashboard page. This Dashboard page will be the first page you see upon login and should show useful info such as a schedule, upcoming assignments, and more...

Additional context
First try and come up with some mock up of what this could look like.

We can probably use the FullCalendar library for our schedule.
