Detailed description

I am really learning a lot from this extremely well-written book - congratulations on making programming easy.
However, I am surprised that there is absolutely no mention of ESD protection handling.
The Pico WH and Pico W both arrive in ESD protective packaging.
It is interesting that there was a vigorous discussion in the raspberry pi forum in 2011, but nothing since.
Has the theoretical problem been resolved?
