Description
The engine seems to occasionally show and hide items that are still partially in view, which I assume is an intended retro effect of imperfect occlusion like many old games had it.
However, in some cases, this seems to go wrong to perhaps an unintended extent, when e.g. an entire house disappears that I am still inside of, or sometimes the entire map itself:

Perhaps this would be worth fixing? It can get a little in the way of looking around and exploring when suddenly the entire environment disappears. I'm guessing one way to fix it was to simply never hide something where some approximation of the box volume contains the player shape mostly or fully.
