Install new dependencies and respect existing

Scenario

• created a docker image containing heavy dependencies (torch, etc.) installed with poetry
• creating new docker image based on previous one
• install additional dependencies

Question

I am wondering if it is possible to install new/additional dependencies respecting already existing ones?

Can previous pyproject.toml or poetry.lock files help with that?

Note

One of the options is to install all dependencies at once, but it requires moving whole build to one image which slows development process.
